Irene C. (Benoit) Trahan

Irene C. (Benoit) Trahan, 86, of Fall River, wife of the late Sydney Trahan, passed into eternal life on Friday, April 30, 2021.

Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Regina (Thibodeau) Benoit.

Employed in the Fall River area garment industry, she was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.

Irene leaves her three children, Richard Trahan and his wife Connie, Donna Arruda and her husband Flo,

and Robert Trahan and his companion Mel Connell;  many grandchildren,

great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.  She was the sister of the late Doris Marx.

A visitation will be held at Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River on Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00 A.M. from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River with a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Michael’s Church, Essex St. Fall River.

Burial will take place in Notre Dame Cemetery.
