Henry J. “Tex” Teixeira, 75, of Fall River, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022.

He was the husband of Margaret A. (Hamel) Teixeira whom he shared 49 years of marriage.

Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Manuel Sousa Teixeira and Imelda (Lizotte) Teixeira.

Employed by Tillotson Rubber for 25 years, he was head electrician and Foreman.

Hobbies included gardening, fishing, reading and using his Dremel drill.  He enjoyed a Jack Daniels or a beer with friends and was a member of St. Anne's Fraternity and Harborside Fishing Club.

He leaves two daughters, Melissa Teixeira Fleet (husband Bryan) and Kim Teixeira Ouellette (husband Kevin); Four grandchildren, Emily, Tyler, Madison, and Lily and many nieces and nephews.  He was the brother of Roger Teixeira and Joseph Teixeira and the late Delores (Teixeira) Kocor, George Teixeira and Eveline (Teixeira) Ferreira. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, January 21, 2022 at 9:30 AM at St. John of God Church, 1036 Brayton Ave. Somerset, Massachusetts.  Burial will be private.
