Heather Lyn (Doige) O'Neil

Heather (Doige) O’Neil, 48, of Westport, MA passed away 11/21/2022. Born in Fall River, a graduate of Durfee High School, and a recipient of a Master’s from Simmons College. Heather worked for the Fall River Public School Department and spent her spare time at the beach in the summer and cutting it up on the slopes in the winter months. 

Heather was the life of the party. Always being the one to make sure all her friends made it a point to re-connect. She was always there to help everyone around her while unable to find the strength to help herself. Her family finds comfort in knowing she is able to be at peace after a hard fought battle. Heather held her time with her children and family dear to her heart.

Heather leaves behind her 3 children; Patrick, Ian and Bridget O’Neil; her parents Alan and Donna Doige. Also her Aunt and Uncle, Deb and Bill Newton. Cousins Melissa St. Pierre and her husband Michael, as well as Tyler Newton and his wife Nichole. She was granddaughter to the late Virginia and Manuel “Sonny” Coelho who she loved dearly. 

A visitation will be held Friday, December 2, from 10:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. in the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River.  Following the visitation, there will be a funeral service in the funeral home at 12:30 P.M.

Burial will be private.
