Grace (Ferreira) Borges

Grace (Ferreira) Borges, 56, of Fall River, passed on to her eternal life on Friday, July 24, 2020, surrounded by loved ones.  Grace was the daughter of the late Francisco Ferreira and Noemia (Santos) Leite.  She was born in Ponta Delgada, Sao Miguel, Azores, before moving to Fall River, MA as a young woman.

A beloved wife, mother, sister and grandmother, she is survived by her husband of 34 years Norberto Borges,  her son, Andrew Borges and his wife Anne, her three grandchildren, Madison, Holly Grace, and Dallas; and her ten brothers and sisters, Adriana Silva, Duarte Ferreira, Leonor Soares, Idalina Ferreira, Luis Ferreira, Maria Karien, Joao Ferreira, Dolores Fernandes, Noemia Ferreira and Acacio Ferreira.

Grace was a devoted Catholic; her faith played an integral role in her life.  She was a deeply kind person; she loved cooking for her family (she made the best sweet-rice), or crocheting blankets for loved ones. Grace was also a devoted mother; her son was her world.  She was the strongest woman you’ll ever meet. 

A visitation will be held Tuesday, July 28, 2020, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.   There will be a funeral service during the visitation at 6:00 PM.  Burial will be private. Online condolences can be sent at AuclairFuneralHome.com.
