Geraldine Saucier

Geraldine Teresa (Nunes) Saucier, 79 of Fall River, MA passed away on Monday, June 15, 2020, after a brief illness. She was the widow of the late Paul E. Saucier.

She was born in Dighton, MA to the late Joseph and Angelina (Veiga) Nunes. Born in Dighton, Geraldine was a resident of Stonington, CT for most of her life, moving to Fall River for her remaining years.

She graduated at the top of her class from Dominican Academy in Fall River in 1958. She served on the Alumni Committee Dominican Academy for a great number of years. She attended Stonehill College and worked at Aetna and in the Mystic, Connecticut School System for many years.

She is survived by her children James R. Brodeur & David P. Saucier (wife Debra), grandchildren Stephanie Brodeur, Brittany Ouellette (husband Daryl), Paul S. Saucier, Ryan P. Saucier, and Isabelle M. Saucier and great grand-daughter Peyton Ouellette all of Fall River.

A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, June 18, 2020, at 10 A.M., at St. Michael’s Church, 189 Essex Street, Fall River, MA 02720 with burial to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery. Please meet directly at the church. Facial coverings are required. Calling hours are omitted at the request of the family.
