Gerald M. Morey

Gerald M. Morey, 85, of Fall River, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2020.

     Uncle Gerry, as we all knew him, was born and raised in Fall River. Always quiet and reserved he was proud of his Irish heritage. In his younger day’s he could be found golfing with cousins or spending time out, especially at the Elks. He would always say with pride that he was a lifetime member.  Mr. Morey was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

     As he grew older the outings became less frequent but he would always find the energy to attend family events. He especially liked Thanksgiving dinner, “Just give me a drumstick”, or Christmas morning in Berkley where he became known as a Christmas Uncle long with his brother Jim.

     He is survived by his nephews, Gerald Delisle and his wife Jo-Ann, and Jim Delisle and his partner Mark Bergereon. He was the brother of the late James Morey and Ann Marie Delisle and the son of the late James H. and Anne (Riley) Morey.
