George Gagnon Obituary

George Gagnon, 85, of New Bedford, formerly of Fall River, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023. He was the husband of the late Nancy (Danis) Gagnon and the late Irene (Gardner) Gagnon. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

George leaves three children, Catherine M. McCrorey (husband Thomas), Michael Gagnon and Peter Gagnon (wife Karla); six grandchildren, Sarah McCrorey (fiancé Kevin Longo), Ryan McCrorey, Cassidy Witkus-Gagnon, Connor Gagnon, Peter Gagnon and Parker Gagnon; four siblings, Robert Gagnon, Charles Gagnon, Donald Gagnon and twin sister Georgette McDonald; He was the brother of the late Marguerite “Margie” Gagnon, Jeannette Paquette, Claire Berube and Armand Gagnon and the son of the late Charles B. Gagnon, Sr. and Blanche (LaBrie) Gagnon.

His Funeral Mass will be held Monday, March 13 at 11:00 A.M. at St. John Neumann Church, 157 Middleboro Rd., East Freetown, MA.  The family will receive guests from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Burial will be private.
