Gail (Richotte) Costa

Gail R. (Richotte) Costa, 65, of Fall River, wife of Jose Costa, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2020.

Raised Catholic, she loved the “oldies,” to bargain shop, gamble,enjoying her pets, camping and claim boils and hosting Thanksgiving, Christmas and birthday parties. She will be remembered for her fun, loving personality, generous heart and legendary strength when times got tough. Gail had a charisma that allowed her to touch so many from extended family to health care providers, who all smile and share funny stories when Gail’s name is spoken.

Besides her husband of 20 years, Gail leaves six children: Tracy Richotte, Shannon Barlow, Randy Barlow, Lacey Lamont, Kira Huckins and Angel Costa; grandchildren, Dana Andrade and Randilee, Kyliegh Barlow and La'neesha Gray; many nieces, nephews,  beloved former foster children; in-laws, Jean Blais, Maria (Neves) Amaral and Carlos Costa. She was the sister of the late Helen, Donald, Carol, Leo and Stephen and sister-in-law of the late Gail Richotte.

Gail was  daughter of the late Ernest and Eileen (Foley) Richotte Gail also leaves behind extended family in the Ahaesy, Barlow, Bessette, Costa, Potvin and Snizek families.

Her Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, May 20th at Good Shepherd Church at 10:00 AM, meet directly at church. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105 or the ASPCA, PO Box 96929, Washington, DC 20090.
