Gaetane (Lessard) Levesque

Gaetane (Lessard) Levesque, 85, of Fall River, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022.  She was the beloved wife of  the late Gaston R. Levesque. They shared 63 years of marriage.

Born in Thetford Mines, Quebec, Canada, Gaetane was the daughter of the late Robert and Annette (Turcotte) Lessard. She was an active member of the former Notre Dame and St. Bernadette Parishes, volunteering  with Bingo.  After raising her children, she was employed as a home health aide.  Her hobbies included baking, crafts, sewing, ceramics, and making floral arrangements.  She also volunteered as a scout leader and lunch lady at the former Notre Dame School.

She was the mother of Claude Levesque (wife Clotilde), Pierre R. Levesque (wife Donna), Alain Levesque, Danielle Levesque-Medeiros (husband Luis), Gaston Levesque (wife Lisa) and the late Paul Levesque;  grandmother of Bruce, Janell, Hailey, Zachary, Emilie, Isaac, Abra and Lily; great grandmother of Brody; sister of Ghislaine, Huguette, Suzanne, Andre and Monique Lessard; aunt of many nieces and nephews.  

Visitation will be held Monday, January 17, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So.Main St. Fall River. Her funeral will be held Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 9:00 AM from the funeral home with a Funeral Mass at St. Anthony of  the Desert Church, Eastern Ave., Fall River at 10:00 AM. Entombment in Notre Dame Mausoleum.
