Obituary
Francis Almeida, Sr., 63, of Fall River , husband of Maureen A. (Solomon) Almeida, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2022.
He was employed at Duro Manufacturing as a dye operator. He also was a bus driver for the Whaling City Transit Inc. and the Town of Swansea.
Francis had many pastimes, including fishing, playing cards, visiting the dog track, hockey, and wrestling.
He leaves two children, Francis Almeida, Jr. (wife Heather) and Ashlee Almeida (fiancé Dylan French), all of Fall River; grandchildren, Dylan, Francis, Kiara, and Loghan; and siblings, Manuel Almeida, Gil deAlmeida, Michael Almeida, and Linda Medeiros.
He was the son of the late Manuel and Evelyn (Correira) Almeida. He was the brother of the late Mary Remy, Steven and Alfredo Almeida.
His funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at 12:00 noon at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River.
Visitation Tuesday morning prior to the service from 10:00 AM - 12:00 noon.
Burial to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
