Elaine Isabel Obituary
Elaine B. (Lagace) Isabel, 80, of Portsmouth, passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021. She was the wife of the late Manuel M. “Manny” Isabel, Jr.
Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Raymond S. “Pep” and Carmen A. (Rancourt) Lagace. Elaine was employed by Schoolhouse Candy for many years and was an avid cook, card player. She enjoyed babysitting and bowling.
She leaves her son, Raymond M.L. Isabel of Portsmouth; two sisters, Rita Pieper and Bernice Del Signore; nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Lillian “Lonnie” Poissant and Janet Carter.
A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at Good Shepherd Church, South Main St. Fall River, at 10:00 A.M. Burial will take place following the Funeral Mass at Oak Grove Cemetery, Prospect St. Fall River. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial gift in Elaine’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
