Edward L. Chicca

Edward L. Chicca, 86, of Fall River, passed away Monday, July 5, 2021.

A retired insurance agent, he worked for Metlife Insurance Co. for many years.

Edward was an accomplished fisherman, having several articles published in the Herald News and Salt Water Sportsman. He also served in the Army National Guard.

He is survived by a son Dana E. Chicca, sisters, Christine F. Chicca, Carol J. Fortier and her husband Scott;

a sister-in-law Barbara Chicca and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late  Louis F. and Frances K. (Knott) Chicca and the brother of the late Paul A. Chicca.

A visitation will be held Thursday, July 8th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River.

His funeral will be held Friday, July 9th at 9:00 from the funeral home with a  Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Church, North Main St., at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
