Dorothy Branco Obituary

Dorothy (Araujo) Branco, 93, of Dartmouth, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at Autumn Glen.

Dot was born in Fall River and lived there most of her life. The last five years she resided at Autumn Glen and enjoyed the company of the other residents and staff. A seamstress for many years, she also worked for Raytheon and Foxboro Company. She enjoyed golfing and bowling in her younger years and took up painting after she retired. Upon retirement, she also took many enrichment courses as she was always curious about many subjects.

She leaves a son, Alan Branco (wife Janice) of Portsmouth. She was the sister of the late Geraldine Barboza and Joseph and James Araujo and the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Palreiro) Araujo.

Due to Covid 19, private funeral arrangements entrusted to the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River.
