Obituary

Doris J. Rondeau, 72, of Fall River, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2021.

            Born in Fall River, she was a member of St. Stanislaus Senior Choir for many years and Hospice. She had many hobbies including reading, antiquing, auctions, and listening to music. Above else, Doris loved her family and especially spending time with her great-grandchildren.

            Doris worked for many years as a medical/legal secretary at the law firm of Roberts, Carrol, Feldstein & Peirce in Providence, RI. She also worked at the ACI in Cranston, RI as a legal secretary and for Attorney John T. Longo.

 

            She graduated from Medical and Legal Secretarial Sciences in Providence, Fall River Beauty Academy and Joseph Case High School, Swansea. She attended University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth and Bristol Community College.

            She was the daughter of the late Stella (Slusack) and Eugene Rondeau. She is survived by her loving son, Jeffrey S. Bates of Swansea, three wonderful grandchildren, Brittnie Bates, Jared Bates and Kyle Bates, four precious great-grandchildren, Joseph Morais, Jacob Morais, Kameron Bates and Kallie Bates.

           

            A visitation will be held Monday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a funeral service at 5:00 PM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
