Doris B. (Charest) Morin

Doris B.(Charest) Morin, 95, of Tiverton, wife of the late Roland L. Morin, passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2023.

She operated her own beauty salon. Active in her church and community, she was a lector and Eucharistic Minister at St. Christopher Parish, and past President of its Womans Guild. Doris was past President of St. Paul’s Priory Auxiliary, which aids the Sisters of Jesus Crucified in Newport, RI. Doris cherished summers at "the cottage" with her family. 

She leaves two sons, Pierre R. Morin and his wife Donna and Donald G. Morin and his wife Alice, all of Tiverton; 4 grandchildren, Matthew Morin (wife Jennifer), Martha O'Connor (husband Thomas), Jean Meyers (husband Patrick) and Emily Aguiar (husband Steve); ten great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Blanche (Gregiore) Charest and the sister of the late Lorraine Doucette, Yvette Belisle, Rev. Roger M. Charest, S.M.M., Romeo Charest, Henry Charest, Reina Morin and Robert Charest.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 10, from 9:00 to 10:15 A.M. at Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a Funeral Mass in St. Christopher Church, Tiverton, at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private.
