Doris E. (Boie) McCarthy

Doris (Boie) McCarthy, 91 of Fall River, wife of the late Robert R. McCarthy passed away on Wednesday May 6, 2020.

She will be forever missed by her entire family and lifetime friends.

She was a former seamstress for 35 years and member of the Ladies Garment Workers Union.

She leaves behind four children, Michael McCarthy (wife Jackie) of Mattapoisett, Patrick McCarthy (wife Julie) of Florida, Timothy McCarthy (wife Tanya) of Lakeville, Sharon Fontes (husband Brian) of Fall River. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren, Melissa Lovenbury, Michele McCarthy, Jonathan McCarthy, Marielle Sousa, Patrick McCarthy, Caelyn McCarthy, Molly McCarthy, Matt Bogie and six great grandchildren.

She is survived by sisters Pauline Moquin and Rita Garrant, and was sister to the late Helen Brunelle. She was the daughter of the late Romeo and Juliette (Bastille) Boie.
