Diane M. (Laporte) Donovan

Diane M. (Laporte) Donovan, 69, of No.Dartmouth, wife of William F. Donovan,passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021. She was employed as a medical transcriptionist for St. Luke’s Hospital for 42 years.

She graduated from Bristol Community College with an Associates Degree.  Diane enjoyed gardening, decorating the house, cooking, traveling and most of all spending time with family. 

She had a love for the outdoors, which included cycling the Cape Cod Canal and hiking with family.

Besides her husband of 44 years she leaves a daughter, Kelly Ann Donovan, three siblings, David, Jeanne and Peter Laporte, nieces and nephews.

Diane was the sister of the late Christine Messier and the  daughter of the late Normand and Vivian (Hebert) Laporte.

Visitation will be Thursday from 4 PM to 7 PM. at Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So.Main St.Fall River.  Her funeral will be held Friday at 9 AM from the funeral home with a Funeral Mass at St. Mary Cathedral, Spring St. at 10 AM. Burial, St.Patrick Cemetery.
