Dennis P. Lachance

Dennis P. Lachance, 62, of Fall River, passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021.

A former computer programmer analyst for Blue Cross Blue Shield of RI, he graduated from New England  Institute of Technology.

A  graduate of Johnson and Wales University Culinary Arts Program, Dennis loved to bake for many fundraiser events.  He was a volunteer at Forever Paws Animal Shelter.  His hobbies included painting and computers.

He was the husband of 31 years of Cheryl A. (McBurney) Lachance; the son of Robert N. Lachance and the late Lucille P. (Pare) Lachance; father of Kristin Camara (husband Shane) and Julie Lachance; brother of Donald, Raymond and Pauline Lachance, Elaine Fournier and Lori Monteiro; uncle of many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River.  A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday at 10:00 A.M at St.Francis of Assisi Church, Gardner’s Neck Rd. Swansea.  Please meet directly at church.  Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.  Face coverings and social distancing required.
