David Ronald Salvas

David Ronald Salvas, age 66 of Fall River, passed away Friday, September 9, 2022 at St. Anne's Hospital. He was the son of the late Joseph and Theresa Salvas, brother of the late Joseph Salvas, Jr., and Diane Grotta and father of the late Eric Salvas.
He was born in Fall River and was a longtime resident of Swansea. David was a truck driver for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved camping with his family. He was a sports fan, who not only loved his New England teams, but also coached little league in Swansea. He enjoyed woodworking and was a big fan of classic rock and roll.  
David leaves behind his wife Brenda Ann (Medeiros) Salvas of Fall River, his three sons; Robert Cestodio (wife, Cheryle Cestodio) of Somerset, Scott Cestodio (fiancée, Crystal Serdynski) of East Providence, Adam Salvas (fiancée, Nicole Bateman) of Riverside;  four grandchildren, Maisey Cestodio, Benjamin Salvas, Lyle Salvas and soon to be granddaughter # 2; brother, Michael Salvas of Swansea and sister, Sue Znoj of Swansea. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law. Remembrance service will be private.
