David Boyd Obituary
David E. Boyd, 80, of Somerset, former owner of Dave’s News on Rock St. Fall River, passed away Monday, June 6, 2022 at Saint Anne’s Hospital.
He was the son of the late Edward C. Boyd and Mary (Bento) Boyd-Doucet.
David was a collector of Coca-Cola memorabilia.
He leaves behind two children, David E. Boyd, Jr. and Christine Rego; two grandchildren, Tyler Rego (wife Gina) and Lindsey Uhl (husband Stephane); two cousins, Stephen Amaral and Shirley Roy. He also leaves behind several close friends.
Dave's daughter would like to thank the wonderful staff at St. Anne's Hospital, especially the ICU and St. James Unit for their support, kindness and devoted care.
His funeral was private.
