Dalia M. (Furtado) Teixeira

Dalia M. (Furtado) Teixeira, 61,of Fall River,formerly of San Mateo, California, passed away after a long illness Monday, December 20, 2021.

She was the wife of Jose M. Teixeira with whom she shared 37 years of marriage.

Born in Porto Formoso, St. Michael, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Irene (Lopes) Furtado.

Dalia was employed by Neto Insurance Company, retiring due to illness. She enjoyed reading and word searches.

She was the devoted mother of Jeremy Teixeira of Fall River and Brandon Teixeira (wife Melanie) of Westport; sister of Eduarda Aguiar (husband Manuel) of Fall River, Graciela Rojas and Maria Martinez (husband Oscar), all of California and was the sister of the late Manuel Furtado, Jr.; She also leaves two Godchildren, Linda Aguiar and Jason Rojas and several nieces and nephews. 

A visitation will be held Sunday, December 26,from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So.Main St.Fall River.  Her funeral will be held Monday, December 27 at 9:00 AM from the funeral home with a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Bedford St. Fall River.  Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to American Diabetes, P.O.
