Corinne C. Silvia

Corinne C. Silvia, 73, of Fall River, passed away peacefully at home on the evening of September 1, 2022, following a valiant four-year battle with cancer and its complications. She was the beloved mother of Richard Shawn Machado.

Born in Fall River, MA, Corinne was the daughter of the late Anthony and Claire (Bernier) Davis.

Prior to her retirement Corinne was employed by People Incorporated as a Direct Care Professional for a number of years. Corinne loved spending time with her family, shopping, dining out, watching Country and Western movies, dogs, her raspberry coffee from Dunkin, and reminiscing about times gone by.  

Besides her son Richard, Corinne is survived by her two sisters Diane (husband Robert) Pacheco of Tiverton, RI, and Donna (late husband Robert) Souza of Fall River, MA; and her brother William Davis of Fall River, MA. Also, nephews William, Anthony, and Benjamin Demello all of Fall River, MA and Brian Pacheco (wife Hadley) of Charlotte, NC. Several great-nieces and nephews; many cousins and dear friends.

“Ma” was a loving, devoted and generous mother; she will be forever missed and remembered always by those who loved her.

Services will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to Auclair Funeral Home, Fall River, MA.
