Carol MacKenzie Obituary
Carol A. (Murphy) MacKenzie, 78, lifelong resident of Fall River, passed away Friday, January 7, 2022. She was the wife of the late William A. MacKenzie and the daughter of the late George F. Murphy, Sr. and Evelyn I. (Gagnon) Murphy.
She volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club and later in life enjoyed gambling and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She leaves four sons, Jeffrey K. Cormier, James K. Cormier (wife Mary Jo), Todd M. MacKenzie (wife Melissa) and Christopher F. MacKenzie (partner Gregg); five grandchildren, Krystal, Shaun, Kevin, Megan and Tyler “T.J.”; four great-grandchildren, Noah, Kali, Nicholas and Avery; three sisters, Sharon St.Laurent (husband Norman),Maureen Sokolski (late husband Edward) and Donna Murphy (husband Douglas); numerous nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late George F. Murphy, Jr., Patricia Harris, Mildred Dechaine, John Henry Murphy, Robert E. Murphy, Sheila Collier, Joan Gehan, Betty Lou Vondeharr and Deborah Duhancik.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 with a funeral service during the visitation at 6:00 PM at Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So.Main St.Fall River.
