Brian M. Alves

        Brian M. Alves, 51, of Fall River, husband of Joanne (Frances) Alves, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020 surrounded by his family after a brave battle with cancer.

        Brian had a great love for cars and anything to do with cars especially his truck. Brian was a huge NASCAR fan. He enjoyed the Bruins and the Patriots. He loved to go for rides and jam out to 80’s rock, He enjoyed going to Seekonk Speedway and watching his boys race. He loved his family more than anything and especially seeing them happy. Brian’s pride and joy was his grandson, his grand dog and family.

        Besides his wife of 27 years, he leaves four children, Katie Alves (Corey Barbosa), Kendra Alves (Tyler Foisy), Stephanie Braga (Tim Soares) and Paul Vieira, Jr. (wife Jessica); a grandson, Bryson; three siblings, Larry, Linda and Donald; many nieces and nephews and his father-in-law, Raymond E. Frances, Sr.. He was the son of the late Lawrence and Eileen (Teixeira) Alves, the brother of the late Donna Nolan and the son-in-law of the late Theresa G. (Bergeron) Frances.
