Beatrice J. (Leduc) Dufour

    Beatrice J. (Leduc) Dufour, 92, of Fall River, wife of the late Gerard R. Dufour, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2019.  She was employed as a sales clerk for the former Ker Mill for many years and also worked at several garment shops. Beatrice was also a homemaker who enjoyed knitting and word search puzzles.  She was an avid Red Sox fan and a member of the St. Bernard Parish Women’s Guild.

She leaves four children, Paul J. Dufour and his wife Kerri of Tucson, Arizona, Michelle Dufour and her husband John Oglesby of Beaufort, South Carolina, Dianne Bigelow (late husband Dana) of Fall River and Celeste Carvalho and her husband Joseph of Fall River; five grandchildren, Daniel Bigelow and his wife Tara, Beth Bigelow, Maegan Harnois and her husband Ron, Nathan and Nicholas Oglesby;

five great-grandchildren, Tre, Issac, Gavin, Ashley and Christiana; many nieces and nephews.

She was the daughter of the late Horace Leduc Sr. and Rosalie (Lagace) Leduc and the sister of the late Blanche Pelletier, Rosalie Fournier and Horace Leduc, Jr.

A visitation will be held Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.at Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So.Main St.Fall River.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:45 A.M. from the funeral home with a Funeral Mass in St.Bernard’s Church, Assonet, at 11:00 A.M. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.
