Antonio "Tarz" Beirão

Antonio “Tarz” Beirão, 57, of Fall River, passed away at his home after an illness, with his family by his side on Friday, December 30, 2022. He was born in Setubal, Portugal.

A graduate of Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School with a focus in autobody, Tarz worked alongside his father, Jose at their family business, Beirão’s Auto Body Repair and Sales, Globe St. Fall River. He was also employed as a carpenter, working for the New England Carpenters Union, Local 33 at the “Big Dig” in Boston.

He leaves his parents, Jose Maria Beirão and Maria Margarida (Parreiro) Beirão; 

Two sisters, Maria “Nella” Souza and her husband Alan and Sandy Marks and her husband Kevin;

Five nieces and nephews: Brianna, Shaun, Marissa, Colby and Bethany and her husband Dan; 

Tarz had a passion for cars, reading, dog sitting, exercising, and running beach side, but most importantly lending his support to anyone in need, when they needed it. He was a great listener and often sought out for advice to the many he was lucky enough to call friends, as he wanted all to succeed. Tarz also had great faith in God and had confidence that his promises would be fulfilled.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, January 3, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River. 

His funeral will be held Wednesday, January 4 at 9:00 A.M. from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a Funeral Mass at Espirito Santo Church, Alden St., at 10:00 A.M.  Burial, Pocasset Hill Cemetery, Tiverton.
