Anthony P. Peixinho

         Anthony P. "Tony" Peixinho, 86, of Tiverton, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020.  He was employed by Wilson Meat Co. of Fall River, Providence and Newton Meat Packing, Providence, Bronhard Bros. and the Coachmen Restaurant.  Tony loved sports including Boston Celtics, NE Patriots and Boston Red Sox. 

         He spent time with his boys helping out Sakonnet Schooners Football, then Tiverton High School Football and Basketball.  Taking care of his yard also brought him pleasure but mostly he loved his grandkids and great-grandkids.

         He was the husband of 50 years to Theresa M. (Murphy) Peixinho;

Father of Todd C., Brian J., Matthew P. Peixinho and the late Scott A. Peixinho;

Grandfather of Clay-Anne Vieira (husband James), Kristina I. Peixinho and Todd M. Peixinho (companion Kennedy Silvia);

Great-grandfather of Elliott and James Vieira;

Brother of Elsie Herman and the late Edward and Florence Peixinho, Mary Travassos, Alice Silvia, Laura Martin, Hilda St.Yves;

Son of the late Antone and Mary (Gonsalves) Peixinho.

         His visitation will be held Sunday, January 3, 2020, from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River,

His Funeral Mass will be held Monday, January 4, at 10:00 AM at St.Theresa Church, Stafford Rd. Tiverton. Meet at church. Burial is private.
