Annette "Anne" (Gagnon) Cardin

Annette “Anne” (Gagnon) Cardin, 100, of Fall River, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2022.  She was the wife of the late Joseph H. “Al” Cardin.

A lifelong resident of Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Herminie (LaBrie) Gagnon.

Annette was employed as an office manager for Whittenton Garment, Lowenstein Garment and Cotton City Wash Frocks.

She was a communicant of the former St. Anne’s Church, a graduate of Dominican Academy and F.G. Allen Business School, Fall River.  Her hobbies included knitting, needlepoint and jigsaw puzzles.  She enjoyed spending time with her dogs Gigi and Mimi.  

The family would like to thank the staff on the Highland and Sagamore Units of Sarah S. Brayton Nursing Center, as well as Beacon Hospice, who all  took such excellent and comforting care of Annette during her last years.

She was the aunt of Roger Gagnon (wife Pauline), Paulette Gagnon (partner Suzanne Parent), Mary Beth Gagnon (husband Al Ferreira),  Arlene Gagnon and many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and great-great nieces and great-great-nephews.

 She was the sister of the late Juliette Gagnon (late husband Lucien) and Donatien Gagnon (late wife Mary); aunt of the late Paul Gagnon and Donna Gagnon.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St.Fall River. Her Funeral Mass will be held Thursday from 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity Church, 951 Stafford Rd. Fall River.  Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.
