Adriano Morais

Adriano Morais, 84, of Fall River, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2023.

He was the husband of Maria J. (Alpiom) Morias. They shared 58 years of marriage.

Born in Beira Alta, Portugal, he was the son of the late Maria R. Morais and Manuel M. DaCosta.  He served in the Portuguese Army and was a prisoner of war.

Adriano was employed by Lightolier, Fall River. He liked collecting antiques and yard sales.

Besides his wife, he leaves two children, Luis M. Morais (wife Alicia S.) and Elizabeth A. Morais; eight grandchildren, Zachary J. Morais, Eric M. Rodrigues, Jordan M Saraiva, Alysha P. Morias, Aslan R. Cronister, Jacob M. Cronister, Isaac A. Cronister and Jared Robinson; three great-grandchildren, Jayden H. Rodrigues, Ethan Rodrigues and Julian M. Saraiva. 

He also leaves siblings, nieces and nephews in Portugal.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, March 1, from 8:30 A.M to 10:00 A.M. at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River.  His Funeral Mass will be celebrated following the visitation Wednesday at Espirito Santo Church, 311 Alden St. at 10:30 A.M. Burial to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
