William H. Neilan, 74, formerly of Eaton St. and Pleasant St., Fall River; son of the late William and Anita (Durand) Neilan, died Saturday, January 31, 2009.
A former member of the Immaculate Conception Parish Men's Club and a church collector, he was employed by Elbe File, Charlton Memorial Hospital and Catholic Memorial Home.
He leaves a sister, Carole Chagnon and her husband Louis "Butch" Chagnon of Somerset and 3 nephews, Michael, Steven and Richard Chagnon.
His funeral will be held Wednesday at 10:30 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Immaculate Conception Church at 11:00. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery.
Visitation, Wednesday morning prior to the funeral from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. PLEASE OMIT FLOWERS. Donations to American Heart Assn., 20 Speen St., Framingham MA 01701 would be appreciated.
