William Medeiros

William Medeiros, 71, of Fall River, husband of Joan (Carvalho) Medeiros, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2010, at home surrounded by his family. A chef, he had been employed by the Coachmen and Venus De Milo restaurants for many years. Besides his wife of 46 years, he is survived by 6 children, Rosie Able of PA and William Medeiros, Michael Medeiros; Carol Giguere (husband Robert), Nancy Ann Medeiros, and Brenda Hunt (husband Robert), all of Fall River; six grandchildren, Nancy Aldrich, Heather Medeiros, Cassie Rocha, Robert Hunt, Robert Jordan Giguere, and Aaron Alton Thurston; seven great-grandchildren, Alisha, Kayla and Kendra Medeiros, Jamison and Ethan Bartley, Zachary Aldrich, and Edward Reynolds, III.; and very close friends, Dana Swale and Robert Hunt, Sr. He was the father of the late Joan McCabe; the grandfather of the late Nathaniel William Medeiros; the son of the late Manuel Grota Medeiros and Emily Syzmaska and the brother of the late Jean Rocha and Virgina Ramos. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
