Vivian Idel Viveros, 75, born in Fall River, passed away on January 27, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Anthony A. Viveros and Lillian (Souza) Viveros; sister of David Viveros, and the late Paul Viveros.
Viv enjoyed adventures, soon after graduating Durfee High School she went on to pursue becoming a flight attendant. Doing so landed her with The Flying Tiger Line who notoriously shuttled troops and cargo during the Vietnam War. From Volkswagen Bus road trips to later becoming a travel agent throughout Mexico with Don Quixote tours. Vivian often spoke of these memories with pride. After starting a family, she became involved with Creative Circle and Girl Scouts of Southern New England.
Vivian or "Mrs. Callahan" as the girls knew her, formed the first Daisy division and the largest Troop in our area. From camping trips and parade marches, "Mrs. Callahan" spent over a decade positively shaping the young minds of so many, while giving them memorable experiences that last a lifetime.
Growing up, Vivian loved music, she learned to play the piano and many speak of her basement dance parties. Later, she became a karaoke host and showcased her singing ability among friends every weekend. Vivian enjoyed gardening, relaxing at the beach, spending time with her grandchildren and was an avid New England Sports fan.
Vivian is survived by her four children, Erica Callahan, Andrea Callahan, Meagan (Adam) Welch of Seattle, and Sean Callahan; two grandchildren, Ethan and Charlotte Dollarhide; along with several nephews, a niece, and her long-time feline companion, "Cat".
May she rest in peace.
