Vivian Idel Viveros, 75, born in Fall River, passed away on January 27, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Anthony A. Viveros and Lillian (Souza) Viveros; sister of David Viveros, and the late Paul Viveros.
Following high school, "Viv" enjoyed adventures. From Volkswagen Bus road trips through Mexico, to later becoming a travel agent for the Flying Tiger Line. After starting a family, she got involved locally in Creative Circle. A short time later, she immersed herself in the Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England community and formed the largest Girl Scout troop in Fall River and surrounding areas. From camping trips to parade marches, "Mrs. Callahan" spent over a decade positively shaping the young minds of so many, while giving them memorable experiences that last a lifetime.
She learned to play the piano growing up, and her love for music reemerged much later in life. From playing her favorite song "House of the Rising Sun" on the piano, to singing it fifty years later as a karaoke host. She enjoyed gardening, relaxing at the beach, travelling, spending time with her grandchildren, and was an avid New England sports fan.
Vivian is survived by her four children, Erica Callahan, Andrea Callahan, Meagan (Adam) Welch of Seattle, and Sean Callahan; two grandchildren, Ethan and Charlotte Dollarhide; along with several nephews, a niece, and her long-time feline companion, "Cat".
May she rest in peace.
Arrangements are private.
