Virginia Coelho

Virginia (Dostou) Coelho, 78, of Westport, wife of the late Manuel S. "Sonny" Coelho, died Saturday, January 7, 2012.

A seamstress, she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Debra Newton (husband William) of Somerset and Donna Doige (husband Alan) of Westport, 3 grandchildren, Heather O'Neil (husband Patrick), Melissa St.Pierre (husband Michael) and Tyler Newton;
6 great-grandchildren, Patrick, Ian, Alexis, Ethan, Bridget and Isabella; and brother, Leo Dostou of Fall River. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Olive (Baldaia) Dostou and the stepdaughter of the late Irene (Solomon) Dostou.

Following cremation, a funeral mass will be held Friday in St. Anne Church, Fall River, at 10:00 A.M.
Reception immediately following. Visitation and flowers omitted.
