Veronica Almeida

Veronica Almeida, 55, of Mulberry St., Fall River, died Monday, August 15, 2005 at St. Luke's Hospital, New Bedford. She was the wife of Domingos Almeida. A lifelong resident of Fall River, she was the daughter of the late John and Maria (Aguiar) Nunes. Mrs. Almeida was employed by various department stores including, Caldor, K-Mart, Macy's and Wal-Mart , she also worked part time several years at Cunha's Bakery. Besides her husband of 28 years, survivors include 2 sons, Michael Branch and Jason Almeida both of Fall River. A sister, Dolores Nunes of Fall River. 3 grandchildren, Joey, Kendra, and Anastasia Branch, and many nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held Thursday at 8:15 a.m. from AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 S. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Santo Christo Church at 9:00 a.m. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours Wednesday 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.
