Vasilios "Billy" Kyros, 60, of Little Compton, Rhode Island, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 surrounded by his wife and children. He was the husband of Sotiria Tina Kyros.
Vasilios was a proud son of the Greek diaspora and a tireless worker who ran the family restaurant, A-1 Pizza in Little Compton, where he greeted generations of customers by name and treated them like family. He loved simple joys—early-morning coffee, good company, and a full table. He was known for his generosity, quick wit, and willingness to help anyone who needed a hand. He enjoyed his family vacations to Florida, listening to musical soundtracks, sleeping with the sounds of the ocean, and watching classic movies with his wife and children. Faith anchored his life; he was a devoted parishioner of St. Demetrios Orthodox Church. Above all, he was most proud of his children and the life he built with his wife. Through his hard work and perseverance, he dedicated himself to ensuring that his children would have greater opportunities and a brighter future.
Besides his wife of 31 years, he leaves his children, Vasiliki Kyros, Melina Kyros, and Thomas Kyros; and his siblings, Helen Kyros, Terri Pantos (husband Greg), and Harry Kyros (wife Julie), as well as all his beloved nieces and nephews. He was the son of Vasiliki (Gatzgoianis) Kyros and the late Kostantinos Kyros.
Visitation will be held at Auclair Funeral Home, located at 690 South Main Street, Fall River, MA, on Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
