Therese "Terry" (Potvin) Silvia

Therese "Terry" (Potvin) Silvia, 77, of Catholic Memorial Home, Fall River, formerly of Bowler St. and Stafford Rd., widow of Donald J. Silvia, died Friday, February 18, 2011. A seamstress in the garment industry, she was an avid reader, and enjoyed spending time with her beloved grandchildren and also knitting. She leaves 2 children, Donna Souza and her husband Michael, and Marc Silvia and his wife Melissa, all of Fall River; two grandchildren, Matthew Souza and Alyssa Silvia; and nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Timothy Silvia; the daughter of the late Louis and Julia (Krawczyk) Potvin; and the sister of the late Edouard Potvin, Henry Potvin, and Juliette Vanlandingham. Her funeral mass will be held Wednesday at 10:00 AM in Holy Trinity Church. Relatives and friends invited. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation and flowers omitted.
