Therese (Pard) Ouellette, 99, of Fall River, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025. She was the wife of the late Maurice M. Ouellette with whom she shared 67 years of marriage.
Born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of Arthur and Rose (Courcy) Pard.
Therese was a cherished member of the St. Roch's Woman's Guild, where she found joy in connecting with her community and serving others. Her passion for cooking was evident as she lovingly prepared meals for family gatherings, where she created memories that would be cherished by all. A devoted grandmother, she delighted in babysitting her grandchildren, sharing stories, laughter, and life lessons, leaving a profound impact on their lives.
Faith played a central role in Therese's life. Her unwavering strength in her religion not only guided her own path but also inspired those around her. Family and friends could always count on her for support and encouragement, reinforcing the values and traditions that defined her life.
She is survived by her four children, Lucille Vital (late husband Paul) of Fall River, Deacon Maurice Ouellette and his wife Teresa of New Bedford, Paul Ouellette and his wife Pauline of Berkley, and Madeleine Cote and her husband Edward of Fall River; seven grandchildren, Marc Vital, Nathan Ouellette, Danielle Vital, Jared Ouellette, Alexandra Sipple (husband Christopher), Elise Ouellette and Nicholas Cote and seven great-grandchildren, Alexis, Avery, Adrianna, Skylar, Hayden, Olivia and Piper.
She was the aunt of numerous nieces and nephews and was predeceased by her siblings, Arthur Pard, Robert Pard, Jeanne Audette, George Pard, Vincent Pard, Edmond Pard, Raymond Pard, Albert Pard, Richard Pard, and Lucille Pard.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 3, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River. Her funeral will be held Thursday, September 4, at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home with a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Name Church, Hanover St. at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
