Tammy A Boutilier, 29, of Tiverton, a vibrant young woman with an adventurous spirit, has passed away as a result of a motorcycle accident that occurred Saturday, August 2, 2025, in the town of Little Compton, in Rhode Island.
She was a graduate of Tiverton High School, where she laid the foundation for a life dedicated to her passion of animals. Tammy transformed her love for animals into a career first at Petco, where she was a groomer, and later as a dog trainer and a dog show handler, competing at multiple dog shows.
Tammy's tireless dedication to her craft, was only surpassed by her unwavering affection for her loyal female German Shepherd, Phantom. Their bond was a testament to the love that was at the core of Tammy's life. She found joy and purpose in training and nurturing Phantom, sharing countless moments together that reflected the profound connection between a dog and its owner.
Beyond her devotion to her furry friends, Tammy, was a captivating individual who found joy in cracking dad jokes, catching Pokemon, watching Supernatural, going to concerts, playing pool and loved mostly anything that had a motor. She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. Whether it was driving through the scenic landscapes, rocking out to her favorite jams, or engaging in thrilling online gaming. She also built a strong community through her nerdy ways. Ms. MPB became her iconic nickname as she threw banana peels at other competitors in Mario Kart. Tammy embraced every moment with enthusiasm and an extra sprinkle of zest. Her family and friends will remember her warm heart, infectious laughter, and the genuine love she shared with everyone around her.
Tammy leaves behind her parents, Timothy and Pamela (Reis) Boutilier, and her loving sister Tanya Rapoza.
She is also survived by her aunt Laurie Reis and her uncles, Dallas and Christopher Boutilier. She was the cousin of the late Joshua Medeiros.
A celebration of Tammy's life will be held on Friday, August 15th, from 5pm to 11pm at St John's Athletic Club at 1365 Rodman St Fall River, MA, 02721.
