Sonja A. (Charron) Knarr

Sonja A. (Charron) Knarr, 77, of Fall River, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. 

Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Charron and Mary O. (Hrycaj) Lee.

Sonja graduated from LaBaron Hairdressing Academy. She worked as a legal secretary in Fall River for many years and was a homemaker. She was also the owner and operator of Knarr's Pet Care Service. In her free time she worked as a volunteer for the Fall River Historical Society and closely with the Fall River Animal Rescue League. Sonja would rescue and care for feral cats in the city. She will be remembered as a beloved mother. 

She is survived by her loving daughter, Melissa A. Phenix; and her life partner, Robert J. Duquette. 

Her graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 10:00 A.M., at the Oak Grove Cemetery, 765 Prospect St, Fall River, MA.
