Sandra J. Furtado

Sandra J. Furtado, 79, of Fall River, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 28, 2024, with friends by her side.

Sandy worked at Truesdale Clinic and Charlton Memorial Hospital as a darkroom technician, radiology assistant, and telephone operator for 47 years, until her recent illness.

Sandy leaves behind her beloved Guide Dog, Raven, and her bird, Gabby. She also leaves behind many great friends.

She was the daughter of the late Manuel C. and Lucy (August) Furtado, and sister of the late George Furtado.

Her Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, November 7, at St. John of God Church, Brayton Avenue, Somerset, 10:00 AM. (Please meet directly at the Church). There will be no calling hours.

Burial at Notre Dame Cemetery.
