Roswell R. "Russ" Couture, 50, of Fall River, son of Colette (Nadeau) Couture of Fall River and the late Roswell Couture, died Saturday, May 2, 2009.
A former employee of the Fall River Public Works Dept., he enjoyed bowling and was an avid sports fan and animal lover.
Besides his mother, he leaves 2 children, Stephen R. and Rachael Couture, both of Fall River; 2 brothers, Dominique Couture and his wife Susan of Portsmouth, RI and George Couture and his wife Paulette of Swansea; aunts, uncles; 2 nephews, Mathieu and Gregory Couture and his former wife Mary (Walsh) Couture.
His funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Notre Dame Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.
Visitation, Wednesday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Please omit flowers. Donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis TN 38105 would be appreciated.
