Roland E. Lambert, 81, of Ripley, Maine, formerly of Fall River, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 30, 2026 in Bradenton, Florida. Born on January 13, 1945, in Fall River, Massachusetts, Roland was the son of the late Albert J. and Irene (Barcelou) Lambert.
A multifaceted individual, Roland had a distinguished career as an X-ray Technician at St. Anne's Hospital with a hiatus as a successful self-employed general contractor.
Roland shared 61 wonderful years of marriage with his devoted wife, Janet E. (Nadeau) Lambert. He also leaves four loving children: Roger Lambert and his spouse Catherine, Denise Santa Maria and her spouse Mark, Michelle Lambert, and Celeste Andrade and her spouse Mark. His family extended further with the blessings of 13 grandchildren—Renee, Christopher, Elicia, Kimberly, Ryan, Amy, Matthew, Timothy, Amanda, Benjamin, Alex, Emilee, and Caroline—and 13 great-grandchildren, who brought him immense joy and pride. He was the brother of Edmond Lambert (wife Margaret) and the late Paul Lambert and the late Armand Lambert (wife Diane). He also leaves a sister-in-law, Claire Travers (husband Lawrence).
In addition to his professional achievements, Roland enjoyed a variety of hobbies that included spending quality time with family, woodworking, cake decorating, bowling, playing cards, and indulging in music.
A visitation will be held Friday, February 13 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St., Fall River. His funeral will be held Saturday, February 14, at 9:00 AM from the funeral home with a Funeral Mass at Good Shepherd Church, South Main St. at 10:00 AM. Burial to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
