Fall River

Listen to Obituary

Rohan Rhys Morgenster, 17, also know as TJ, passed away tragically on Sunday, July 12, 2026 in Fall River.

He was a former student at BMC Durfee High School and was due to start at YouthBuild in August.

Rohan loved building things, playing the guitar, hiking, rock climbing and being outdoors. He enjoyed reading, video games, and spending time with his family and his girlfriend.

His favorite foods were bread, cheese and crackers (ongoing family joke). He liked anime, Pokémon, dad jokes, cooking, and spending time with his family and his girlfriend Lyric. Cooking. Rohan disliked heights (but he loved roller coasters, so make that make sense).

Rohan loved making others laugh by any means possible. He has his cousin convinced that his name is Skippy. He was beyond intelligent, though he didn’t want people to know. “The smarter they know you are, the more they expect from you.” He was loyal to a fault, and while he wasn’t perfect, he always made an effort to work on his flaws. He saw the world in Black and White and yet he made our world a kaleidoscope of colors.

He loved his family and his girlfriend Lyric fiercely. He was the light in our darkness. Rohan leaves his mother, KaiLyn S. Morgenstern, his father Ryan King, and his stepfather Josh Gonzalez; siblings Tevy, Mazikeen, Damon, Orlando, Jacques, Noctis; and stepsister Kylee; niece Mila; aunts and uncles Nikky, Jordan and Jamie, Vixen, Renee, Kathy, Adam and Ary, Paige and Dana, Pookie and Kimoie, Kayleigh, Heidi, Scott and Robin - and a very special family friend Cody D.; grandparents Lynda, Stacey, Sharon, Cherri; Deceased members of the family Jose, Keith, George, Joann and Edmund; Cousins Donnie, Jaxson, Saxon, Ember, Bronn, Landyn, Mia, Lina, Addy, Jace, Cameron, Cody and Eli.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Sunday, July 19, from 12:00 Noon to 3:00 PM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River.
