Roger A. Belanger

Roger A. Belanger, age 85, passed away January 9th, 2019 at home.  He was the beloved husband of Christine (Picard) Belanger.  They were married for 40 years.

Born in Fall River he was the son of the late Rene and Ernestine (Collard) Belanger.  In addition to his wife, Roger is survived by his children Roger S. Belanger (wife Michelle) of Tiverton, RI, Debra Belanger of Southport, CT, Stephen Belanger (wife Kelly) of Massapequa, NY, 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Roger served in the Air Force during the Korean War and subsequently worked for H.P. Hood & Sons and Bonanza Bus Lines.  He loved woodworking and enjoyed traveling, ice skating, bicycling and kayaking.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

All services were private per Roger’s request.  Memorial gifts may be made to the American Heart Association.
