Robert E. Tavares

Robert E. Tavares, 72, of Fall River, husband of the late Louise E. (Levesque) Tavares, entered into rest Sunday, August 28, 2016.

He and his late wife operated the Horseneck Beach Food Concession for many years as employees of Boston Concessions Group Inc. He was an avid bowler, enjoyed traveling and was a baseball card collector.

He leaves a sister, Debra Valentine of Cumberland, RI; nieces, Bethany L. Blain, Rebecca L. Valentine and Mikayla L.Valentine and a great-nephew, Adam J. Butterfield.

Visitation at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kindred Hospice, 275 Martine St. # 202, Fall River MA 02723.
