Robert R. Demers

Robert R. Demers, 60, fondly known as Bob, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. He was the husband of Mary (Tavares) Demers for 34 years. Bob was a devoted husband, father, papa, and son who touched the lives of many with his kind spirit and dedication to his family.

Born on May 16, 1965, in Westport, he was the son of Rita (Beaulieu) and the late Henry Demers. 

Throughout his life, Bob pursued a career as a licensed Propane Technician, where he was known for his hard work and commitment to excellence. He took great pride in his craftsmanship and enjoyed the relationships he built throughout his career.

Bob was a lover of the outdoors, always going fishing every chance he had. Hiking with his wife and faithful dog Chevy brought him immense happiness, providing opportunities to explore the trails. Camping was another enjoyment of Bob’s, where he found relaxation under the stars, fostering connections both with nature and with those he loved. He also had a great joy in jet skiing and dirt biking with his son Jacob.

Besides his beloved wife Mary, and mother Rita, he is survived by his son, Jacob Demers (wife Elizabeth), his grandchildren, Maddie and Jason, his siblings, and many nieces and nephews and a brother-in-law. He was predeceased by his brother, Henry and nephew James Demers.

As we remember Bob, we reflect on the warmth and positivity he brought into our lives and the deep connections he forged with family and friends. He will be dearly missed, but his memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know him.

Robert's visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with a funeral service at 6:00 P.M. at the Auclair Funeral Home.
