Robert M. Correia

Robert M. Correia, 82, of Tiverton, Rhode Island, a retired boatbuilder, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026, at St. Luke's Hospital. Born on January 30, 1944, in Fall River, Robert lived a life rich with purpose and passion, particularly in his craft at Pearson Yachts.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sandra L. DeMello Correia.

Robert enjoyed fishing, where he found joy and tranquility on the water. He also took pleasure in the simple act of cutting his grass.

He is survived by his four daughters, Robin Correia, Sherry Farias, Dawn St. Laurent (fiancé Norman Helger III), and Tammy Louise Darezzo (husband Paul Darezzo). As a proud grandfather, he cherished his time spent with his grandchildren, Samantha, Desiree, Jaydain, Tristin, Armand, Mitchell and the late Kayla Lynne Romano, as well as his great-grandchildren, Ryan, Sophia, Greyson, and Thea. Robert also leaves his siblings, Louis Correia, Madeleine Cordeiro, and Eileen Gomes; and nieces and nephews.

 He was the son of the late Lewis and Deolinda (Freitas) Correia, and his brothers, Francis Correia and Richard Correia. Arrangements are private.
