Robert A. "Red" Bergeron

Robert A. "Red" Bergeron, 61, of Blossom Ave., Somerset, husband of Lisa A. (Rebello) Bergeron, died Sunday, April 8, 2012. A graduate of Somerset High School, Class of 1968, he was employed by Belcher Malleable Iron Foundry, Easton, MA for many years. Truly a family man, he also enjoyed fishing and swimming, and played softball in several softball leagues, and basketball in the Wilbur School "Over - the-Hill" League. Besides his wife of 31 years, he leaves 2 children, Alicia Albernaz and her husband Artie of Swansea, and Robert Bergeron of Somerset; a grandson, Ethan Albernaz; siblings, Judi Thwaite (husband Tommy), Joseph Bergeron (wife Jane), and Michael Bergeron (wife Cindie), all of Somerset; and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Joseph Edward and Margaret "Peg" (Macey) Bergeron. His funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:45 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Thomas More Church, Somerset, at 10:00 AM. Burial, Nathan Slade Cemetery, Somerset. Visitation, Tuesday 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
