Rita I. (Bussiere) Chouinard

Rita I. (Bussiere) Chouinard, 85, of Fall River, wife of Alban E. Chouinard, died Tuesday, September 2, 2008. Besides her husband of 61 years she leaves a son Gilbert A. Chouinard and his wife Carol of Fall River; a daughter Elaine of Middletown, DE; 4 grandchildren, Magan, Margaux and Matthew Ratte and Johnathan Chouinard and his wife Robin; a great-granddaughter, Alyssa Chouinard; a sister, Dorothy Bertola of New Bedford and nieces and nephews. Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Aime and Marie Louise (Belanger) Bussiere, she was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality of Notre Dame Parish and enjoyed ballroom dancing, sewing and reading. Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Notre Dame Church at 10:00 AM. Entombment, Notre Dame Cemetery, Our Lady of Lourdes Chapel Mausoleum. Visitation, Friday 5:00 to 7:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
