Richard L. Glass, 52, of Fish Rd., Tiverton, RI, died Thursday, June 4, 2009.
A retired Director of Operations for Southpointe Skilled Nursing Center, Fall River, he was a Navy Seabees veteran of the Vietnam Era. An active member of Bliss Four Corners Congregational Church, he enjoyed boating, diving, truck pulls and woodworking and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans.
The son of the late Marvin and Elizabeth (Hauck) Glass, he was the husband of 29 years of Pamela Anne (Bullivant) Glass; the father of William Glass, John Glass and Christopher Bullivant, and the grandfather of Alyssa Hailley Glass, all of Fall River; the brother of Deborah Padula (husband Domenic) of Tiverton and the late Donna-Lee Glass and the uncle of Elizabeth Wood, James Lapre, Stuart Bullivant and Nicole Ventura.
A funeral service will be held Monday at 10:00 AM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River.
Visitation, Sunday 5:00 to 7:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations to Multiple Sclerosis Society, 101 First Ave., # 6, Waltham MA 02451 would be appreciated.
